Policy, Agreement and Fees
Customers of Wolfys Pet Stylists agree to the following statements in the case of removing matting and indemnify Wolfys Pet Stylists, its owner, and its employees against any and all liabilities, damages and costs resulting from any service provided or injury sustained whilst in our care or after our services have been completed.
Pet owners agree to inform staff of all pre-exisiting conditions their pet has, this includes anything physical, psychological or behavioural that may affect the grooming process.
Grooming can be stressful and can sometimes exacerbate anxiety, especially in senior dogs.
We will always groom with the best interests of the animal and will aim for cleanliness and comfort over style in the instance of matting.
Matting is dangerous for the health of your dog, it can cause among other things; hotspots, bacterial skin infections and restriction of blood flow.
When presented with a matted dog, we cannot see what it is under the fur and as such this process is a risk for minor injuries such as small knicks and grazes.
It is understood that at Wolfys Pet Stylists our furry clients are our top priority and we work hard to prevent accidents and injuries, however such incidents may occur as is the nature of working with live animals.
Grooming tools are sharp and animals are unpredictable.
It is understood that Wolfys Pet Stylists staff are trained in animal first aid and a first aid kit is always on hand.
We will require additional time with your dog if they are matted and you should allow for this when bringing your dog in for their appointment.
